Hello, challenge.

Hey there.
So where do I start ? I'm 28 years old. And these last weeks (months ?) I've been thinking that it's high time I started taking care of some basic things in my life. One of them is health.
I've never really practised any type of sport in my life. As a child and teenager, I wasn't a whiner when it came to running or  biking or any other sporty activities. I just never did it seriously, then never did it at all as a young adult.
Ok, 'nuff taking, my friend Amal and I decided to take a running challenge. It's based on a book I bought two years ago (and never used, duh). It's a training method that takes one month, that helps you start from fast walking 20 minutes  all the way to running for one hour, non-stop.
Walking (or even running) 20 minutes sounds almost easy, but one hour, eek ! Sounds pretty impossible to me now !
First day is supposed to be today.
It's raining cats and dogs in Paris. I haven't had breakfast today, and didn't sleep well last night.
But hey, I'm gonna do it !
Today's program goes like so : 10 minutes walking to warm up,  8 minutes of alternating 1 minute running and 1 minute walking, then again, 10 minutes of walking.
Sounds easy, huh ?
I'll probably do this tonight after work.
Let's hope it won't be raining.
