Ok, so here I am, 8 pm, ready to hit the streets of my neighbourhood !
T-shirt, check (the same I wore that day, I must confess).
Yoga trousers, check (ok, you're not supposed to run with them, but they're fine for me !)
Running shoes, check.
Watch ? I lost mine.. I'll just use my phone, or so I thought.
I just need to grab phone and keys and run off the door.
Wait, my pants have no pockets, a bag would be too big, it's not cold enough for a jacket with pockets ! I ditched the phone, removed my home key from its chunky keychain and kept it in my hand.
As I didn't have a way to measure time, I just walked a distance I know would normally take me 10 minutes, then counted the seconds when it came to alternating running and walking. I ended up doing 5 minutes longer than expected, but that's fine.
The book recommends stretching movements, so I did those when I came home.
Ok ! Day one successfully completed !
It wasn't hard I must say, but its all about baby steps, right ?
